Minimizing Your Guest Count

Creating a guest list for a wedding has always been a daunting task. My recommendation for clients is to start with family, then with friends, you have stayed in contact with this year, and the people who you talk to on a regular basis.  We tend to always want to invite people from years and years ago which is fine, but then your list becomes even longer. If there are people that you know are bringing plus ones don’t forget to consider that, you can also eliminate bringing a plus one.

With social distancing weddings, there are restrictions that you need to adhere to such as locations, rules (which can change by city and state), food, venue, and the capacity. Keep in mind, capacity includes vendors.

Who loves saving money? You can save so much money by having a wedding of fewer than 100 people. It is more intimate, personal and you get the opportunity to connect with people who you wouldn’t have time to with a larger wedding.

With your wedding planner, we take the time to make sure that you are adhering to the restrictions, communicating with your vendors and if any problems come up they are able to support you every step of the way.

Lastly, if people are still concerned about traveling during these COVID times, you can offer the option for them to come virtually and send them a personalized gift. This makes them feel included in the wedding while being in the comfort of their own home.
