Vendor Feature: La Rosa Que Creció Floral

La Rosa Que Crecio´ Floral Design is a woman-owned, woman-run small business operated out of the greatest city in the world: Los Angeles.

La Rosa Que Crecio´ specializes in creating aspirational yet accessible florals that reflect the natural world. They believe that nature is inherently unruly—and that flowers should never lose sight of their roots. (Get it?) While they especially adore a wild and vibrant color palette, they can just as easily get behind a neutral or cream-colored bunch.  Let’s get to Lindsay’s top 4 things to consider when booking a florist.

In February and May prices increase.

These prices increase mainly because of Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day. You will be paying higher prices pretty much all month long during those months.  Floral prices also depend on if the florals are in or out of season. Consult with your florists on recommendations.

It’s A LOT of work.

It takes lots of preparation, planning, designing, resourcing, etc. and a lot of couples have sticker shock when it comes to florals. There is SO much more that goes into it that you don’t get to see. We configure the cost based on the people that help us to make your event come to fruition.

Not everything you see on Pinterest is real!

A lot of those weddings are styled shoots that florals were done at cost. Often times florists will bring their beautiful visions & ideas to shoots.

People see that work and then see the price tag and are scared.

Familiarize yourself with your florist's work and not just Pinterest BEFORE you book to make sure they can achieve the style that you want.
